I’m a professionally trained cabinetmaker, building authentic hand-made furniture to commission at a small workshop in Southwark, South London.

I design and make classic, timeless, bespoke pieces, inspired by the English Arts and Crafts movement and by the beauty and character of the timber I select. My work was recently featured as the cover story in Good Woodworking magazine.

Good Woodworking coverEvery item is an original, planned to your specification and crafted in sustainable British hardwoods using traditional hand tools and techniques.

My furniture will last you for many years and will look good in almost any domestic interior, whether it’s modern or period. My latest completed pieces are a curved desk in English pippy oak and a desk in Scots pine. You can see how I made them both here.

I'm now working on the first of three oak desks for a working office. Have a look at an outline of the project here.

On this website you can see other examples of my furniture and check out my work in progress. You can read a little about my background and the Arts and Crafts style. You can see the kinds of wood I like to work with and the tools and techniques I use. And you can find out how to commission pieces and how to contact me.
